This incarnation of Omnicon was founded late 2009/early 2010. The original convention that spawned us launched in 2000 but petered out by 2003. In 2010 it was revived and has been continued on since. Legend says we're a reboot of another convention by the original Alpha Psi Phi Members, but no one can prove it.

Omni-Con is the product of lots of hard work by Alpha Psi Phi members and volunteers from TTU and the surrounding community. The event includes industry guests, vendors with merchandise relevant to our interests, contests, panels, games...pretty much whatever we can pack into two days.
